Start of a New Era of Health Education in Pakistan: Health Services Academy Partners with MarCom Private Limited to Launch First-Ever Public Health YouTube Channel

27th February 2024: Islamabad, Pakistan: In a historic collaboration aimed at revolutionizing health education in Pakistan, the Health Services Academy (HSA) has joined hands with MarCom Private Limited to launch the nation’s first-ever public health YouTube channel. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed today at the Health Services Academy in Islamabad, marking the beginning of a groundbreaking initiative set to transform how health information is disseminated to the public.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Vice Chancellor of Health Services Academy, Professor Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan and the Managing Director of MarCom, Ms. Madiha Naseem Khan, signed the MoU in presence of team members from both parties. MarCom, a leading advertising agency renowned for its innovative approach to communication, will spearhead all aspects of the channel’s development, including content creation, show formats, promotions, and channel management.

This partnership signifies a significant milestone in Pakistan’s healthcare landscape, as it brings together the expertise of HSA in public health education with MarCom’s proficiency in effective communication strategies. The YouTube channel will serve as a platform for delivering accurate, accessible, and engaging health information to the masses, covering a wide range of topics including preventive care, disease management, healthy lifestyle practices, and more.

Speaking about the collaboration, Professor Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of HSA, expressed his commitment for the initiative, stating, “This partnership marks a new chapter in our efforts to promote health literacy and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their well-being.
