ISLAMABAD – A delegation from Hunan Sunwalk Group met with Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja in Shenzhen, China, to explore opportunities in digitalization, telecommunication infrastructure, and fiberization. The meeting also included representatives from ZTE, who discussed ICT solutions, innovation, and connectivity with the Minister.
The Sunwalk Group briefed the Minister on their National Optical Fiber Project in Pakistan, launched in 2021. The Minister appreciated Sunwalk’s investment in Pakistan and their future plans, emphasizing the importance of optical fiber cable networks for digitalization. She assured the Government of Pakistan’s full support for Sunwalk’s initiatives.
ZTE plans to propose the establishment of a device manufacturing factory, fiberization factory, and data centers in Pakistan within two months.
