FUZHOU, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) — During the Chinese New Year, or the Spring Festival, a group of young members of the string lion dance team from Huotong Town of Ningde City in Fujian Province, staged a splendid performance in Fuzhou.
The Huotong String Lion Dance, characterized by controlling lion puppets with strings, is a unique folk art in Ningde, which was listed as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage in 2006.
