In recent weeks, a number of guilds and shopkeepers have protested due to the sudden increase in the exchange rate. The government immediately recognized these protests and held talks with the protesters through the relevant authorities, especially the President playing a key role, and agreements were reached to address their concerns.

The enemy, who is looking for an opportunity to create insecurity and instability nationwide, incited a number of various elements through cyberspace and then, with the announcement of Israeli regime and the United States supporting the protesters, they managed to bring some people to the streets in some small towns. With the timely presence of security forces, these elements were contained and the current situation is as follows.

Latest Updates on the Situation in Iran

  • The main group of protesters, primarily shopkeepers, have officially announced the conclusion of their lawful protests.
  • Internet connectivity has been restored nationwide. Some temporary reductions in speed persist due to ongoing security and cybersecurity considerations.
  • Acknowledging the legal rights of lawful protesters, the Government has initiated constructive dialogue with representatives of trade guilds and market associations, contributing significantly to stabilizing the situation.
  • In some cities, a few limited and weak cluster of illegal protests briefly emerged in distant locations but were swiftly dispersed.
  • In several other cities, under the full supervision of security forces and law enforcement agencies, calm and public order have been restored.
  • Notably, the responsible conduct and vigilance of lawful protesters, particularly their commitment to respecting legal frameworks, played a key role in preventing escalation and in containing the unrest over the past few days.

Israeli regime and the US continue inciting deceived elements. Some of the arrested rioters have confessed to having connections with foreign agencies in exchange for money from abroad.
